Campouts

Twice a year we do “family camping”. Family camping means scouts and at least one parent/guardian attends, however the entire family is welcome to join for a small fee. Campouts are a great way to get to know the others scout families and work on outdoor adventures. These overnight campouts take place in the fall and the spring and can be one to two consecutive days/nights. We follow the Safe Scouting and choose locations that are approved by the local council with appropriate facilities and with at least one registered adult leader with Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) training attending. There are other camping and outdoor adventures that are Council Organized throughout the year that Cub Scouts can participate in either with the Pack, Den or individually.
